The Dove House is a children’s advocacy center located in Statesville, North Carolina serving child victims of sexual abuse, and their non-offending family members. They are a non-profit organization that provides a safe and child-friendly facility from which a multidisciplinary team works together to support the investigation, intervention and successful prosecution of reported child sexual abuse cases.
Through the Interior Design Society, Joycelyn Armstrong Interiors was among the first supporters of the new facility for the Dove House Children’s Advocacy Center. Recognizing the important work these volunteers do on a daily basis and the trauma their clients face was a key driver in the decision to jump on board to help create a more efficient facility for all involved. Joycelyn Armstrong Interiors donated all of its labor and expertise to help this project become a reality.
